Student Testimonials

My name is Zahra Jamali, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into the University of Miami. My school has been instrumental in this achievement by offering extensive academic and extracurricular opportunities. The guidance counseling department was particularly supportive, helping me find internships that provided valuable real-world experience, curating my university list that fit my academic and personal aspirations, and being consistently available for any questions or concerns. Participating in community service projects, extracurricular activities and being the Head Girl allowed me to develop leadership skills and a strong sense of social responsibility.  I am deeply grateful for the support and resources provided by my school, which have thoroughly prepared me for the university admission process and helped me reach this important milestone.

My name is Humza Asif, and I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to Westminster School for the exceptional support I received during the university application process. As the former President of the Robotics Club, I am thrilled to announce my acceptance to Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) with a remarkable 130% scholarship.
Although I joined Westminster School in October, a relatively late timeframe for university applications, the guidance and support I received from my counselor, Ms. Samar, proved invaluable. Ms. Samar’s expertise was instrumental in helping me identify universities that aligned with my academic goals and personal aspirations. Her personalized approach and mentorship facilitated the development of a strong application profile, including the timely completion of comprehensive essays. Notably, Ms. Samar’s suggestion to apply to HKBU ultimately led to the generous scholarship I received.
While internship opportunities were limited due to my late enrollment, Westminster School provided me with the platform to excel as President of the Robotics Club. This leadership experience demonstrably highlighted my initiative and ability to manage a team. Additionally, my active participation in community service initiatives like Karwan e Falah allowed me to showcase my commitment to social responsibility.
I am deeply grateful to Westminster School for their unwavering support throughout my university application journey. Their guidance and dedication have played a significant role in making my dream of studying abroad a reality.

I am Sofia Zaman and I’ll be attending university of Illinois at Chicago in the fall. The application process, especially as an international student, can look very daunting without guidance. i was previously a private student but switched to Westminster international school mainly because of their highly qualified counselling department. Ma’am Samar helped me thoroughly with my essays and gave me constructive criticism while also listening to my vision. for US universities, the common app essay is the admission officers window into who you are. The opportunities the school provided for us to boost our CV gave me confidence while filling out the application because i finally had sufficient extracurricular section! my acceptances to 10+ US universities with scholarships are a credit to the Westminster international counselling department and their thorough guidance.

My name is Javeria Khizer, and I've been part of Westminster since 2020, completing my IGCSE and A-levels here. I'm thrilled to share that I've been accepted into the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts program at Altinbas University in Istanbul, Turkey, and even received a generous 60% scholarship. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of my school's guidance counselor, Ma’am Samar. She really took the time to understand my strengths and interests, helping me select the right universities and create strong applications. With her guidance, I felt confident every step of the way.

Additionally, the opportunities provided by the school, such as community service and internships, were crucial to my success. Through community service, I learned the importance of giving back and developed valuable leadership skills. My paid internship at The Monal Group provided hands-on experience in my field of interest, gastronomy, which made my application stand out even more.

Thanks to the guidance from Ma’am Samar and the valuable experiences I gained through community service and internships, I feel fully prepared to embrace university life. I'm incredibly grateful for the support and opportunities that have shaped my journey so far.
