Teaching Assistants & Peer Tutors
Teaching Assistants & Peer Tutors
We offer many opportunities for our students to take up roles like Teachers’ Assistants and Peer Tutors. Such positions give our students a great advantage when applying for universities, internships and other professional opportunities. It offers useful skills that students can rightfully parade on their university applications, resumes and in interviews.
A teacher’s assistant is an able student who works under a teacher’s supervision to give other students additional attention and instruction.
Peer tutoring is a system of using students to tutor other students. Peer tutoring occurs either in one-on-one meetings or in small groups, which requires more focused communication between tutors and students. We have experienced that students who receive peer tutoring feel more comfortable receiving additional instruction from fellow students. Peer tutors enhance their own understanding of the material by teaching it to other students.
